Yes, but people with autism are in a different league. They just FEEL and they KNOW.
All great people have struggled. From Edison to Van Gogh. Even Elon Musk says it’s not easy being him. Charles Darwin, Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein were all on the ‘spectrum’.
People don’t understand. They’re afraid of their own inadequacies and limitations. They can stick together as a tribe, because they’re in the majority. It can be easier not to understand and find a scapegoat. That’s one of the reasons tribe is so important here; perspective, strength and laughter. Otherwise it’s easy to a child to be consumed with shame, abandonment and isolation.
Chances are he/she is doing great. So much better than you can begin to imagine. Anyone who’s ostracized, told they’re wrong, bad, and living with constant overwhelm (not least when they’re truly sensitive and wonderful) is a true survivor to get through each day.
With such constant overwhelm, and few tools or understanding to help, it takes them at least 10 times more energy to get through every minute of every day than anyone without such overwhelm.
The greatest desire we all have is to BELONG. Here, as a tribe, the joy is for both parents and children to be around those who DO understand and ‘get you’ and, most of all, for you to truly know and love yourself.
Until now you’ve likely been confused, afraid, and overwhelmed. Without the awareness the A-List Formula brings, and without comprehensive tools or support to do things differently, it can feel like a perpetual rollercoaster. It all changes here.
Yep, they’ll have an incredible awareness of, and affinity for many of the senses; visual, music, audio, touch, etc. Beneath the struggle, they’ll have wonder, curiosity, emotion, kindness, awareness, determination, and be an incredible survivor.
Yes, absolutely. As you and they understand what’s really happening, have a tribe, perspective, answers, and step into their unique individual brand of brilliance they (and you) will never look back. There’ll be a feeling of confidence, happiness, and wholeness.
They’ll always have extraordinary sensitivity to the wonders, potential, and promises of life. When you become Aware of, Accept, and Accommodate these overwhelming senses and help your child step into their brilliance, they get to live the life of their wildest dreams.
